The Law Offices of Randall M. Weiner, P.C. Files Federal Lawsuit to Prevent Construction of Trails and Visitor Center at Rocky Flats

Our office filed suit today, May 1, 2018, against the U.S. government for failing to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (“NEPA”) in planning to build public trails and a visitor center at the former Rocky Flats plutonium facility.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Denver on behalf of five citizen groups, argues that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the Rocky Flats site’s current manager) has not completed a required analysis of environmental risks and policy options.
