Happy 2013! Thank you for your business, friendship, and support over the years. I cordially invite you to the annual Around the World Party at our offices in Boulder’s impressive Park Place Building. The party is on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. We will host music, drinks, and food from around the world, including Thailand, Indonesia, China, Italy, France, Hungary, Mexico and Jamaica.

We’ve had an enormously successful 2012. Last spring, we brought on Kara Cook, a C.U. Law School graduate, to grow our environmental practice. She will assist paralegal Rhianna Gray and me with our growing caseload involving fracking, herbicides, oil and gas contamination, noise pollution and organic growers. In July, we obtained Colorado’s first decision (and one of the few nationally) treating pesticide drift as a trespass, and our clients were issued a permanent injunction to halt it. Our firm also prevailed in all three of our trials last year. To top it off, we obtained verdicts and settlements of over $850,000 for our personal injury clients, the largest amount since we added this specialty to our practice in 2008.
